Ready for the job
They already know how a treatment room runs and how to structure a consultation, before they are hired.
Our beauty specialists run the course, at no extra cost. And through Flama Academy we take the same technology into beauty schools.
The courses are run by our beauty specialists alongside the engineers who assemble the machines. You learn to use the equipment and to build a treatment on top of it that a client will pay for.
It starts with the basics, theory and practice, and ends with running the machine day to day. When a new member of staff joins, the course runs again from scratch for them.
People leaving beauty school have often never touched a laser or a radiofrequency handpiece. So, on request, we work with local schools and academies and bring into the classroom the technology students will meet at work.
The physics and biology behind lasers, radiofrequency and body technology. Knowing why a pulse acts on a tissue is what lets you set the parameters later instead of working from memory.
In the labs students take turns: once as the operator, to get the feel of it, once as the client, to feel on their own skin what the handpiece is doing.
Flama Academy is not an off-the-shelf programme: it adapts to each school’s official syllabus, with specialist modules on advanced aesthetic technology.
We agree with the teaching staff how many hours are needed and on which technologies, and slot in where the syllabus allows.
At a first interview, having already held the equipment is what makes the difference.
They already know how a treatment room runs and how to structure a consultation, before they are hired.
They get comfortable with the equipment under the eye of people who use it every day, contraindications included.
The technology is expensive and schools cannot buy all of it. We bring it, along with the people who can explain it.
Write to us and we will put together a Flama Academy module for your school, built around the syllabus you already teach.
