What Laser Epilux does

Epilux is the upright laser system in the range: a column body, a digital tablet interface and a sapphire tip. The high power keeps treatments quick even over large areas, with results building steadily across different phototypes and hair types.

An upright body, a digital interface and sanitising done in plain sight: this is the part of the session the client actually sees.

  • Hygiene you can see

Sanitising happens in the room, in front of the person on the bed.

  • No pause between areas

Going from the bikini line to the upper lip does not break the rhythm of the session: change the spot and carry on.

  • Large areas, short times

The high output keeps legs and back quick, with results building steadily on every phototype.

Handpieces and components

  • The Epilux laser handpiece held in the hand, its built-in display in the foreground

    The handpiece

Ergonomic and very light, with the sapphire tip mounted at the end: the material conducts cold better and passes the energy through more efficiently.

  • The interchangeable Epilux sapphire spot adapters in their case

    Magnetic spot adapters

Magnetically mounted, sapphire surfaced, one geometry per area, angled tip included. They come off and go back on in one movement, with no screws or catches.

  • The Epilux skin analyser probe held in the hand for a skin scan

    Skin Analyser

The probe reads the phototype and the characteristics of the hair and passes them to the built-in tablet: the session parameters come from the scan.

  • Steriliser compartment

Built into the body of the machine: accessories are sanitised between clients without leaving the room.

Three wavelengths, one emission

  1. 808 nm

The classic hair-removal wavelength: deep penetration into the follicle and high average power, suited to most skin and hair types.

  2. 940 nm

Higher absorption by oxyhaemoglobin and moderate penetration; melanin absorption is low, so it stays safe on darker phototypes.

  3. 1064 nm

Lower melanin absorption and deeper penetration: the right wavelength for treating the darkest phototypes safely.
